An all-party delegation from Manipur, led by chief minister N. Biren Singh, met union minister of state for home, G Kishan Reddy in Delhi.
The delegation submitted a memorandum to union minister Reddy raising their concern over the Naga peace talks.

Sources said the delegation in their memorandum raised their voice against inclusion of the Manipur territory in the ‘Greater Nagalim’ as demanded by the NSCN-IM earlier.
“Led a delegation of All Manipur Political Party to New Delhi today and called on Union MoS for Home G. Kishan Reddy at his office and submitted a Memorandum in connection with the ongoing Naga peace talks,” said N Biren Singh.

The delegation also met union DoNER minister Dr Jitendra Singh and submitted similar memorandum.
Sharing a few images of meeting DoNER minister Singh, chief minister N Biren tweeted: “Led a delegation of the All Manipur Political Parties to called on Hon’ble Union MoS (Independent Charge) of DONER Shri Dr. Jitendra Singh ji at his office today and had a discussion on the developments of the Naga peace talks.”

The high-level all-party delegation from Manipur arrived in the national capital on Wednesday anticipating the signing of a final peace agreement between the government and NSCN (IM).
Before leaving for New Delhi, the Manipur chief minister had said, “Convened another all-party meeting at my office to discuss the finalization of Naga peace talks and its impact on Manipur. A delegation is reaching Delhi….”
The delegation is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah.
Sources said political parties in Manipur have expressed serious concern over the ongoing talks “in case of any chance of compromising the territorial integrity of Manipur”.
On earlier occasions when the issue of compromising territorial integrity came to the front, Manipur witnessed violence.
However, the Centre has ruled out any possibility of compromising territorial integrity of other states in the peace accord.
