Guwahati: Manipur, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh schools have made it to the knockout stage of the ‘63rd Subroto Cup Junior Boys International Football Tournament’ being played in New Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR).
On Thursday (September 5, 2024), Stephen’s second half penalty was enough for Mizoram’s RMSA High School to overcome Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan in a Group B encounter and edge closer to a knockout place.
On the other hand, Haryana’s Lord Krishna Senior Secondary School confirmed its spot in the last eight with a group match beating Tripura Sports School 2-0.
The school from Haryana has made three wins out of three matches and mathematically confirmed their place in the quarterfinals from Group H with one more group match to play on Friday (September 6, 2024).

Meanwhile, Meghalaya’s Myngken Christian Higher Secondary School, Arunachal Pradesh’s Govt. Secondary School, and Manipur’s T.G English School have already booked their places in the quarterfinals.
The final group stage matches will be played on Friday at the Ambedkar Stadium, Tejas Football Ground, KIIT Global School and G.D Goenka World School.
The quarterfinals are slated for Saturday (September 7, 2024).
