PM Modi accused the DMK of falsely claiming credit for government schemes and accused them of pasting ‘China’s sticker’ to take credit for ISRO’s launch pad in Tamil Nadu.

The Prime Minister expressed dissatisfaction with the DMK’s reluctance to acknowledge India’s advancements in the space sector and criticized their use of tax money for advertisements that did not showcase India’s space achievements.

Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai also condemned the DMK for allegedly using a ‘China rocket’ picture in a government-sponsored newspaper advertisement promoting ISRO’s second launch pad.

Annamalai accused the DMK of prioritizing China’s interests over India’s sovereignty and accused them of desperation to take credit for developmental projects.

Meanwhile, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth approximately Rs 17,300 crore in Tamil Nadu, while criticizing the previous UPA regime for neglecting the state’s progress.
