SHILLONG: Meghalaya Congress announced its candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, selecting Vincent Pala for Shillong and Saleng A Sangma for Tura.
With these nominations, the party aims to clinch victory in both constituencies in Meghalaya.
On February 26, the Meghalaya Congress clarified that there would be no seat-sharing agreement with the Trinamool Congress in the state.
Vincent Pala further affirmed that both parties would independently field candidates for the Tura seat.
