  • Liver Impairment: This tablet is contraindicated in individuals with active liver disease or hepatitis. Furthermore, its use is not recommended in cases of severe liver impairment. Caution is warranted, and the tablet should be used cautiously, if at all, in individuals with a history of liver disease.
  • Driving and using machines: This tablet may cause dizziness, vertigo, drowsiness, fatigue, and visual disturbances. Do not drive or operate machinery after taking this tablet.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding: This tablet is not recommended during pregnancy, especially during the third trimester. It is also not recommended in breastfeeding mothers.

Can Zerodol P Tablet cause liver damage?

This tablet is not intended for use in patients with liver damage. Rarely it can cause increase in hepatic enzymes. It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment. Dose adjustments may be required in patients with active liver impairment.

Can this Zerodol P Tablet cause sleeplessness?

This tablet can cause insomnia, depression, abnormal dreaming, and dizziness as a rare side effect. If you are concerned about these side effect of this tablet, consult your doctor before taking it.

What Medicines Should You Avoid When Taking Zerodol P Tablet?

Avoid taking lithium, antiarrhythmics (digoxin) and immunosuppressants (methotrexate). It may increase the blood concentrations of these medications. It may also increase anticoagulants’ activity, inhibit diuretics’ activity, enhance cyclosporine toxicity and cause convulsions when used with quinolone antibiotics. Use of this tablet with other NSAIDs and corticosteroids should also be avoided due to the increased risk of side effects.  Furthermore, hypo or hyperglycaemia may occur from the concomitant use of this tablet and antidiabetis medicines, although this is rare.
