A new day in the history of Indian cricket will dawn when the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is set to commence in Mumbai from March 4, 2023

Five teams will complete in the inaugural edition of this standalone T20 franchise-based league for women that will end on March 26, 2023

The teams of WPL include Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore & UP Warriorz

A total of 22 matches will be played with the Brabourne Stadium & D.Y. Patil Stadium playing hosts to the marquee tournament.
