“These are my original face sculptures for the costume. I created two layers, one showing the muscle, organs, and fat, and another with a goofy expression that I thought would work well with the giant hand and give the whole thing a slightly comedic edge, like a mutant muppet.

“So many hours of designing, sculpting, molding, casting, fabrication, painting, and polishing hundreds of jewels. Long days and nights, and a ton of hard work went into this thing.

“And as if that wasn’t enough, we still had to pack it all up, transport it, and somehow get Heidi into this giant hand in record time in the back of a truck in complete darkness!
