Virat Kohli brought his iconic Dhanush (bow and arrow) celebratory pose again during the first ODI against New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland on November 4, 2026

The iconic pose was done after he took a brilliant diving catch to send Nathan Smith back to the pavilion

The catch was not easy at all, as the ball was travelling low and towards Kohli's right side.

The former Indian captain reacted without wasting a second, as he dived to his right and grabbed the ball just inches above the ground majestically with one hand.

While Kohli’s stupendous catch at the age of 37 years has blown fans away with his fitness and commitment, it was the celebratory pose in the Dhanush (bow and arrow) that left them starstruck.

Some has already claimed it as a ‘Diwali gift’

Kohli originally brought out his signature Dhanush (bow-and-arrow) celebration during Test cricket matchesnotably after reaching centuries or key milestones in previous years

“VIRAT KOHLI IS BACK WITH HIS ICONIC DHANUSH CELEBRATION! - Finally, our day is made! The GOAT has brought back his iconic celebration for us!” one wrote

“Diwali around the clock and Kohli's dhanush celebration is here,” another added

“THE ICONIC DHANUSH CELEBRATION IS BACK! Virat Kohli brings back his signature arrow celebration after a long time, following a sensational catch in the field! A brilliant piece of athleticism followed by a celebration fans absolutely love! THE KING'S STYLE. THE KING'S SIGNATURE,” a third said
