The industrial family of India have added another feather in their cap this time by opening  India’s first-of-its-kind, multi-disciplinary cultural space, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre on March 31

Every celebrity of Bollywood attended the glitzy opening ceremony of the Centre which aims in strengthening India’s cultural infrastructure and bring to fruition the best of India and the world in the sphere of arts.

Nita Ambani who felt herself to have been empowered after learning Bharatnatyam also claimed to have seen  first-hand the magical transformation that art makes possible

“For the last few years, my daughter Isha and I along with our team have immersed ourselves in this dream project,” she said in a statement.

“The NMACC is envisioned as a platform to spotlight Indian arts and culture at its best, both for the audience and the artists,” she added

The Centre will be highly inclusive with free access for children, students, senior citizens, and the differently abled

The NMACC, which is located in the premises of Jio World Centre at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla complex, is home to three performing arts spaces: the 2,000-seat Grand Theatre, the 250-seat Studio Theatre, and the 125-seat Cube

It also features the Art House, a four-storey dedicated visual arts space with the aim of housing a shifting array of exhibits and installations from the finest artistic talent across India and the world.
