– One of the oldest Bihu functions, Latasil is known to bring the trend of the dance performance from field to stage in 1952. This year it will be completing its 72nd Bihu celebration with several events including indigenous dances to various local games.
– The Dakhin-Pub Guwahati Rongali Bihu Sanmilan in Rajghar was established in 1958. This year it will be hosting Bihu function with acclaimed singer Krishnamoni Chutia performing on April 14.
– Another well known Bihu function is held in Noonmati by Noonmati Bihu Sanmilan with the function starting from April 14 for four days. It will be completing its 60 year celebration of Bihu and this year the main attraction of this function is singer Neel Akash performing on April 15.
– The famous Bihu ground in Chandmari Pub Guwahati Bihu Sanmilan will be completing its 62nd year of Bihu function. Renowned singer Priyanka Bharali and Babu Baruah will be performing on April 16.
– Brihottor Hengrabari Bihu Sanmilan will be held in Hengrabari from April 18 – April 21. The Bihu function will be inaugurated by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and a cultural rally will be held on April 18.
