The Dutch location technology expert, TomTom Traffic Index measures cities around the world by their travel time, fuel costs and CO2 emissions, providing free access to city-by-city information.

TomTom’s Traffic Index 2022, has published a list of the world’s busiest cities.

London received the first position as the world’s most congested city in the world.

Here is a list of the busiest cities in India:

– Bengaluru ranked as the second most congested city according to TomTom Traffic Index, 2022.

– Pune ranked in the sixth position as the average time taken to travel 10 kilometres is 27 min 20 sec.

– The capital city, New Delhi ranked in the thirty-fourth position with the average time taken to travel 10 kilometres was 22 min 10 sec. The average rush hour speed in the city is 24 kilometres per hour.

– The financial capital, Mumbai ranked as the forty-seventh position with the average time taken to travel 10 kilometres was 21 min 10 sec in 2022.
