National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in ANRF sponsored following research project entitled “Bayesian Learning Augmented Design of Reliable In-Memory Computing Using Unreliable Ferroelectric FETs for Edge Applications” in 2026.

Qualification :
Candidates with an M.Tech. / M.E. in VLSI/microelectronics/semiconductor Devices/AI-ML, or related disciplines with experience in semiconductor devices and AI-ML tools.
Or
M.Sc. with valid GATE/NET qualification
Or
GATE-qualified candidates with a B.Tech. / B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related disciplines.
Knowledge of AI-ML/Python/EDA tools is preferable.
Desirable Skills :
1. Knowledge of semiconductor devices
2. Programming skills in Python/ MATLAB
3. Experience with machine learning
4. Knowledge of hardware accelerators/in-memory computing.
5. Familiarity with data analysis/ optimization/ model development with PyTorch
Fellowship : INR 37,000/- p.m., for the first two years and INR 42,000/- p.m., for the third year.
