The Assam Government has designated 7 more cremation sites in Guwahati for the last rites of those who succumbed to COVID-19. The seven new cremation sites designated for COVID-19 victims are: Ulubari Electrical Crematorium, Basistha Cremation Ground, Bogthuli Cremation Ground in Panjabari, Jalukbari Cremation Ground, Garigaon Kabarsthan, Jalukbari Kabarsthan, and Katahbari Kabarsthan.
