Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has tested positive for COVID-19.
This was confirmed by the actor in his Instagram Account.
The actor contracted the virus in Chandigarh while shooting for his upcoming movie Jug Jugg Jeeyo.
Admitting that he could have been careful, Varun Dhawan wrote, “So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted #covid_19 All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19. So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful.”

Besides Varun, his co-star Neetu Kapoor and director of the movie Raj Mehta have also tested positive for COVID-19.
However, other cast members Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani have tested negative for the deadly virus.
Both Varun Dhawan and Raj Mehta have now placed themselves under quarantine in Chandigarh itself.
On the other hand, Neetu reportedly flew back to Mumbai after her actor-son Ranbir Kapoor made necessary arrangements.
