Union Home Minister Amit Shah has tested positive for COVID19 on Sunday.

The news has been confirmed by Shah on his Twitter handle on Sunday afternoon.

The Union Home Minister tweeted that he is getting admitted to a hospital as per the advice of the doctors.

“On getting the initial symptoms of the Corona, I got the test done and the report came out positive. I am feeling okay, but on the advice of the doctors I am getting myself admitted to a hospital,” Shah tweeted.

The Union home minister has requested all those people who came in contact with him in the last few days to isolate themselves and get tested for COVID19.

“I request everyone who has come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate and get yourselves tested,” Shah further said.
