Popular Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last movie Dil Bechara will be released on the digital platform Disney+ Hotstar from July 24.

As a mark of tribute to the late actor, Disney + Hotstar has decided to make the movie available for its subscribers as well as non-subscribers too.

Announcing the film’s digital release, Disney+ Hotstar tweeted, “A story of love, hope, and endless memories. Celebrating the late #SushantSinghRajput’s legacy that will be etched in the minds of all and cherished forever. #DilBechara coming to everyone on July 24.”

“For the love of Sushant and his love for cinema, the movie will be available to all subscribers and non-subscribers,” it added.

Dil Bechara, which marks the directorial debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra, stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi in lead roles.

The movie is the official remake of the 2014 Hollywood romantic drama The Fault In Our Stars based on John Green’s popular novel of the same name.

Although the movie was expected to release in theatres in May, it could not be done so due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the digital release of Sushant’s last film did not go down well with some of his fans and they took to social media demanding that the film be released in big screens as they didn’t want to miss an opportunity of watching the late actor in the theatres for one last time.
