These residents said that some Nepali FM channels are playing anti-India speeches between songs.

It may be mentioned here that the Nepalese parliament recently adopted a new political map of Nepal showing these areas as part of its own.

The main FM stations playing anti-India content between songs are Naya Nepal and Kalapani Radio and some old channels like Mallikarjun Radio and a website named annapurna.online are also broadcasting reports depicting Kalapani as a part of Nepal.

These FM stations are located at Chabrigar near the district headquarters of Dharchula in Nepal.

These stations have a range of about three kilometres and can be heard in Dharchula, Baluakot, Jauljibi and Kalika on the Indian side of the border.
