Greta Thunberg, a 17-year-old Swedish environmentalist, tweeted in support of Indian students on Tuesday, and said it was wrong and unjust for the government to force students to appear NEET and JEE exams amid Covid19 pandemic.
Greta said it is totally wrong to force the students to appear the crucial NEET and JEE exams while India is still caught in a whirlpool amid Covid19 pandemic.

The environmentalist said in her tweet that it was wrong and unjust for the Narendra Modi-led government to force students to take the exams.

Greta demanded that the government should immediately consider postponing the exams as floods in many parts of India have left people stranded.
The government has announced that JEE and the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET UG) will be held on time.
As per the latest update, the JEE Main exam will be held from September 1 to 6, while the NEET exam will be held on September 13, despite opposition by everyone across the country.
While senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy suggested that both JEE Mains and NEET Exams be held after Diwali, Maharashtra Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray has also written a letter to Narendra Modi to postpone both the exams.
Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has also requested the Centre to consider delayed the two important entrance examinations.
