It’s raining retelecast during the 21-day nationwide lockdown period, called to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
After Doordarshan, it is now Star Bharat that is bringing back two of the classics sit-coms of all times- Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai and Khichdi and both the shows will now be aired every morning at 10 am from Monday.
In a tweet, the channel said, “Indravadan shall meet you after 16 years. Watch Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai from April 6, every day at 10 am”
Featuring Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak, Rajesh Kumar, Sumeet Raghavan and Rupali Ganguly, Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai first aired on Star One in 2004
It has reached cult status and has a substantial fan following.
In another tweet, the channel said, “Praful is coming to meet you after 18 years. Watch Khichdi every day at 11 am.”
The 2002 comedy show Khichdi stars Supriya Pathak, Vandana Pathak, Rajeev Mehta, Jamnadas Majethia, among others.
Both the shows were written and directed by Aatish Kapadia.
