Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted the women on the occasion of International Women’s Day and saluted women power (Nari Shakti).

While greeting the women, PM Modi saluted the women and said India takes pride in the many accomplishments of the women of the nation.

Modi said it was his government’s honour to work towards furthering women’s empowerment across a wide range of sectors.

“Saluting our indomitable #NariShakti on International Women’s Day! India takes pride in the many accomplishments of the women of our nation,” PM Modi tweeted.

“It is our Government’s honour to be getting the opportunity to work towards furthering women empowerment across a wide range of sectors,” Modi said.

President Ram Nath Kovind has also greeted the women of the country on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

President Kovind in a tweet said the women in the country are setting new records and achievements in various fields.

He called to collectively resove for promoting gender justice and eliminate inequality between men and women.

“On the occasion of International Women’s Day, greetings and best wishes to all fellow citizens. Women in our country are setting new records and achievements in various fields. Let us collectively resolve to promote gender justice and eliminate inequality between women and men,” President Kovind tweeted.
