A total of 3,23,144 people have tested positive to Covid-19 in India in the past 24 hours.
With this the total cases has reached 17,636,307 in the country.
A total of 2,771 people have succumbed to the disease in the past 24 hours in the country, taking the total death toll to 1,97,894.

Tuesday’s Covid-19 tally is however, the lowest in the past six days when more than 3 lakhs fresh cases were recorded on a daily basis in the country.
The acute shortage of oxygen is a major problem in many states together with a shortage of beds, in the absence of which hospital authorities are forced to turn down patients arriving for treatment.
Meanwhile, the US, Uk and many European countries have already offered to help India tide over this national crisis by offering medical equipment and oxygen supply.
The defence forces and the Indian Railway are also engaged in transporting oxygen to different parts of the country.
However, there still exists a gap as many Covid-19 cases are going unreported together with low testing levels in some states.
