The Oxygen Expresses of the Indian Railways have transported 450 metric tonnes of oxygen to different parts of the country.

The first train of empty tankers left for Vizag from Mumbai a few days back and the Oxygen Expresses have transported more than 302 metric tonnes of oxygen safely to different states.

The Oxygen Express is also in the process of transporting another 154 metric tonnes of liquid medical oxygen is on its way.

Another train ferrying four tankers reached Delhi from Raigarh (Chhattisgarh) on Monday.

On the other hand, a train carrying 44 metric tonnes in three tankers reached Kalamboli in Maharashtra from Hapa at Rajkot in Gujarat on the same day.

Another oxygen express from Bokaro in Jharkhand carrying 90 metric tonnes of oxygen in five tankers reached Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday morning.

Another train will depart from Lucknow to Bokaro to bring one more set of oxygen tank.
