New Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday informed that the total number of coronavirus positive cases in the national capital rose to 384.
Among the 384, including 259 who were evacuated from Nizamuddin Markaz.
He further informed that 91 new cases were reported in the national capital in the last 24 hours.
One person evacuated from the Markaz died due to coronavirus, the CM further informed.
“Among the 384 persons who tested positive, 58 had of them had a recent history of foreign travel. Among them, 38 contracted the virus after coming in contact with them,” Kejriwal added.
“I would like to say that the community spread of coronavirus is not taking place in Delhi yet. The situation is under control and there is no need to panic,” he further said.
“We are ready to tackle every situation, even if there is a community spreading,” Kejriwal added.

The CM further informed that he along with deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia and experts will interact with students and answer their queries related to the coronavirus at 3 pm on Saturday.
