One of the ambulances carrying the mortal remains of the victims who lost their lives in a helicopter crash, including chief of defence staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat met with an accident on Thursday.
The accident took place when the convoy of ambulances were on their way from Wellington to Sulur in Tamil Nadu.
First of the two accidents that took place when axle of a police vehicle broke and hit a wall on the roadside.
A few minutes later, one of the ambulances carrying the mortal remains of the deceased met with an accident suffering damages.

An ambulance hit the ambulance which was moving in front of it and then hit the wall on the roadside.
Later, the mortal remains were shifted to another ambulance and continued its journey towards Sulur.
Meanwhile, mortal remains of CDS General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 other security personnel would arrive at Delhi on Thursday evening.
All 13 bodies are being brought in an Indian Air Force (IAF) C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft from Sulur to Delhi.
