Unidentified assailants allegedly hacked to death a BJP leader in Kerala’ Alappuzha district early on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as BJP OBC Morcha state secretary – Renjith Sreenivasan.

Sreenivasan was allegedly killed in Alappuzha district of Kerala on Sunday morning.

Notably, Sreenivasan’s ‘killing’ comes on the same day Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) leader KS Shan succumbed to his injuries that he sustained after being attacked on Saturday.

Shan was allegedly mowed down by a car while he was returning home in his motorcycle.

A car allegedly rammed into his motorcycle leading to serious injuries to Shan.

He was immediately admitted to a government hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday morning.

The SDPI leadership has alleged that KS Shan was killed by activists of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Meanwhile, Alappuzha district administration has imposed section 144 in the district.

On the other hand, Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan has condemned the two alleged murders in Alappuzha.
