BJP MP Varun Gandhi was tested COVID positive on Sunday.
He, recently, was on a three-day visit to Pilibhit, from where he is an MP.
“After being in Pilibhit for 3 days, I have tested positive for COVID with fairly strong symptoms,” Varun Gandhi said.

He also suggested the election commission to take up all precautionary measures to keep a check on the spread of the virus.
“We are now in the middle of a third wave and an election campaign. The Election Commission should extend precautionary doses to candidates and political workers as well,” Varun Gandhi said.
