The new Prime Minister of Bhutan, Dr Lotay Tshering met Ajay Narayan Jha, Secretary (Expenditure), Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
During their meeting, Prime Minister Tshering thanked Jha for visiting Bhutan and highlighted the special friendship that Bhutan has been sharing with the neighbouring country, India.

Prime Minister Lotay Tshering on November 19, 2018 met Vijay Gokhale, Foreign Secretary, Government of India.
During their meeting, Prime Minister Tshering said that he was committed to strengthening the special bond of friendship and cooperation shared by both India and Bhutan.
The PMO, Bhutan on its Twitter on Monday stated: “Lyonchhen Dr Lotay Tshering met H.E. Mr. Vijay Gokhale, Foreign Secretary, Government of India. Lyonchhen said that he is committed to strengthening the special bond of friendship and cooperation shared by the two countries.”
On Thursday, the Bhutan PM also met Fadel Haider Saud Alhasan, CDA of Kuwait Embassy in Bhutan.
It may be mentioned that formal diplomatic relations between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bhutan were established in the year 1983.
Informing about this, the PMO on its Twitter handle on Thusrady stated: “Lyonchhen Dr Lotay Tshering met Mr. Fadel Haider Saud Alhasan, CDA of Kuwait Embassy in Bhutan this morning. Formal diplomatic relations between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bhutan were established in 1983.”
