The solid waste management plant was set up under Swacha Bharat Mission (Gramin). “Under this programme we will set Solid waste management plant in every Gaon panchyat of Dibrugarh district,” Madduri said.

Altogether, 2800 families of Barbarua will be benefited by this solid waste management plant. Household wastes will be collected and after that will be segregated into the plant.

The garbage treatment plant can successfully divided solid waste into different parts, and make the different waste materials further processed. In this way the plant can eliminate waste pollution and also improve the environment for the next generation.
