Gauhati University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the govt job of Project Assistant under the Research Project entitled “Technology intervention on traditional rice beer of north east India for commercialization and boost socio-economic development to the region” in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:
M.Sc. in Botany/Biotechnology/Microbiology with scoring not less than 60 marks in the final exam and atleast 2 years research experiences in microbiology work.
Age limit: Maximum age of 35 years on the date of interview
Monthly emoluments:
Rs. 24,500/- per month for candidate without NET/GATE
Rs. 33,500/- per month for candidate with NET/GATE

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview as per the following schedule-
