National Bureau of Soil Survey & Land Use Planning (NBSSLUP) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of one Young Professional-I under Crop Diversification Project on contract basis. NBSSLUP is one of the fourteen Natural Resource Management (NRM) institutes of the ICAR entrusted to conduct RD&T activities mainly in soil survey, remote sensing applications, land evaluation and land use planning. Government of India established All India Soil Survey Organisation in 1956. Its headquarters came into being with five Regional Soil Correlation Centres at Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Jorhat and Udaipur. NBBSLUP became an independent Institute of ICAR in 1969.

Essential Qualification :
Graduates in relevant subjects altogether or Diploma holders in relevant Agricultural Sciences / Engineering/ Technology.
“Agricultural Sciences” includes all agriculture & allied sciences altogether, i.e. Crop science, Horticulture Science, NRM related disciplines, Animal Science, Veterinary Sciences, Fisheries Sciences, Agriculture Engineering, Agriculture Extension, Agriculture Education etc.
Emoluments : Rs. 30000/- per month
Age Limit : Between 21 to 45 years altogether with relaxation as per rule
Selection Procedure :
A walk-in-interview will be held on 7th June 2024 at 11:00 AM altogether in Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) JNKVV,
Chandan Nagar, Nagpur Road, Chhindwara

How to apply :
Candidates must come along with his/her application on plain paper with passport size photograph
affixed on the application, attested copies of mark-sheets and certificates, and they are necessarily also required to produce original certificates at the time of interview.
The applicants should also bring his/her CV mentioning Name, Father’s/Husband’s name, Date of Birth, whether SC/ST/OBC, academic qualifications, research experience, publications (if any) and also address for correspondence, contact number etc.
