Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Assistant Project Engineer in the project entitled “Empowering women through appropriate technology.” at School of Agro & Rural Technology (SART). Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati altogether commenced in 1995. At present the Institute also has altogether eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and five schools covering all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati’s campus is altogether on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kms from the heart of the city Guwahati. IIT Guwahati is also the only academic institution in India that occupied a place among the top 100 world universities. Besides its laurels in teaching and research, IIT Guwahati has been able to fulfil the aspirations of people of the North East region to a great extent since its inception in 1994.

B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 2 years experience
Salary : Rs. 34880/- per month
Selection Procedure :
A walk-in-interview will be held on 30 April 2024 (Tuesday) from 10 am onwards at Mechanical Engineering Department of IIT Guwahati
