In a shocking incident, around 40 bodies that of COVID-19 victims, floating down the Ganga have piled up at a ghat. 

The bodies piled up at a Ganga ghat in Bihar’s Buxar district. 

The recovery of the dead bodies in such large numbers have sent shockwaves across the entire country. 

There seems to be no end to insensitivity towards the COVID-19 positive patients or their dead bodies.

Meanwhile, blame game has started between Bihar and Uttar Pradesh over the recovery of the dead bodies. 

The Buxar district administration in Bihar has said that the bodies are from neighbouring Uttar Pradesh. 

The Buxar district administration has said that the bodies floated down the Ganga River and piled up at the ghat there.

Earlier on Sunday, in a shocking incident, staff from Katihar Hospital in Bihar allegedly dumped bodies of COVID victims into a river. The video of the incident has gone viral in the social media. 

The video shows the Kathiar hospital staff taking the bodies out of an ambulance and dumping them in the river. 

Meanwhile, Katihar district administration has ordered a probe after the video of hospital staff dumping covid bodies in a river went viral.
