“I raised the alarm, but by that time, the nurse already administered the vaccine,” a media report quoted Sahu as saying.
After the second dose of COVID19 vaccine was administered, Sahu was asked to undergo observation for two more hours and was given ORS drink, centre observer Rajendra Behera said.
Behera claimed that Sahu was sitting at the vaccination place instead of going to the observation room due to which he was erroneously administered the second dose within a short period.
Betanati Community Health Centre in-charge Dr Sipun Panda said he was aware about the complaint and an inquiry committee would take up the matter before taking any action against the person responsible.
Dr Panda said there was no such adverse reaction seen in Sahu’s body and his condition was stable.
