Tamil Nadu on Thursday trounced Madhya Pradesh 4-2 in the first quarter-final of the 25th Senior Women’s National Football Championships and booked a berth in the semi-finals.

In the second match of the day, the Indian Railways outsmarted Himachal Pradesh 12-0 and confirmed its position in the last four.

Host Arunachal Pradesh will take on Odisha on Friday in the third semi-final of the tournament.

In the fourth and the final quarter-final of the championships, defending champions Manipur will lock horns with Jharkand later on the day.

Manipur defeated Rajasthan 10-0 on Wednesday to book a place in the quarter-finals.
