The final of the tournament was played at the Chiduchigo Football Stadium at Likabali in Lower Siang district.

Capital Complex Football Club (CCFC) were on Tuesday crowned champions of the first ever Khelo India U-17 Girls League-2020 after they defeated Eleven Sister FC of Lower Siang by convincing margin of 6 goals to 1.

The final of the tournament was played at the Chiduchigo Football Stadium at Likabali in Lower Siang district.

Where Tamo Kuniya stole the show by scoring hattrick for Capital Complex, here goals were followed by a brace from Kai Rumi whole team captain Gyani Ramching also scored a goal for the winning side.

Rubu Gowala of Eleven Sisters was the lone goal scorer for her team.

In all total 25 teams from various districts of the state took part in the league which was organized by Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA).

The competition was a part of an initiative of Ministry of Sports to develop women’s football in the region and country.

Among other to witness Tuesday’s final was Lower Siang ADC Sode Potom ADC, DFO Bajum Taba and All India Football Federation observer Jatin Borah.

APFA secretary Kipa Ajay, director (competitions) John Neelam and executive member Kipa Niba were also present on the occasion.
