India Club of Guwahati, a premier tennis-playing club of the region, is all set to organize the the23rd edition of the India Club-Anup Lahoty Open Tennis Championship- 2021 from January 20-25.
The championship will be organized under the aegis of the All Assam Tennis Association (AATA) at the courts of India Club of Guwahati.

Kalyan Kumar Das, tournament director of India Club-Anup Lahoty Open Tennis Championship- 2021, informed that the championship is being organised for both Boys’ and Girls’ Singles under 14 and 18 years age groups.
The other categories are Gentleman Singles and Senior Gentlemen’s Doubles (above 35, 45 and 55 years respectively).
Cash scholarship will be awarded from the quarter-final stage in under 14 and 18 years categories, Das said.

Signing-in will be held on January 19 from 1 pm to 5 pm.
“No entries over the phone will be accepted,” tournament director Das said.
“Participants, who sign-in, will be considered for draw only,” he added.
