Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been discharged from the hospital after he tested negative for COVID19 in the morning on Sunday.
The megastar was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital after he tested positive for COVID19 on July 11.
After his discharge from the hospital, the renowned actor has reached his home in Mumbai.
He said he will now remain in solitary quarantine in his room as per protocol.
Sharing the news, Bachchan in a Facebook post on Sunday said: “This morning I have tested CoVid negative and have been discharged from hospital. I am back home. I will have to be in solitary quarantine in my room.”
“The grace of the Almighty, the blessings of Ma Babuji, the prayers and duas of near and dear and friends and fans & EF .. and the excellent care and nursing at Nanavati has made it possible for me to see this day. I express my gratitude,” Bachchan said.
Bachchan was last seen in the comedy-drama ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ by Shoojit Sircar.
Due to COVID19 pandemic, the movie was premiered on Amazon Prime Video.
His upcoming movies include ‘Jhund’, ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Chehre’.
