The newly elected chief executive member (CEM) of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) Purna Chandra Jamatia along with six other executive members including TIPRA Motha chairman Pradyot Kishore Debbarman has called upon Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb.
The state government is ready to provide overall support for the development of TTAADC said CM Deb during the meeting that took place at the Civil Secretaria in Agartala on Friday.
During the discussion, the Chief Minister said the state government has taken initiative to pave all the roads in the ADC areas by 2022.
The newly elected MDC has demanded allocation of necessary funds from the state government for the development of the ADC areas.

The executive members assured the chief minister that the ADC administration would continue its efforts to complete the projects of the central and state governments with sincerity.
A press communiqué informed “In order to expedite the administrative work of the ADC area, it was demanded to appoint at least two IAS rank officers in the ADC in the interest of expeditious communication with the state and central governments”.
The chief minister said the state government has made efforts to provide drinking water and toilets in every Anganwari center and school in the ADC area.
He also called upon the newly elected ADC workers to work sincerely for the creation of employment opportunities through education, health, drinking water, electricity, industry and training in the ADC area.
The Chief Minister was apprised of the problems raised by the executive members of the ADC in various areas of the concerned department and reiterated the government’s commitment to address these issues.
