Two youths – Sourav Nath and Rajdip Nath – met their watery grave at Lal Chara area of Dharmanagar in Tripura on Friday. The parents of the deceased boys are in “deep shock”. Sourav was 14 years old while his friend Rajdip was all of 11 and both are residents of Kadamtala near Borogol Shiv Mandir area.
It is reported that Rajdip had come to visit his maternal uncle and his friend Sourav accompanied him. At around 2 pm in the afternoon on Friday, the locals saw the body of the duo floating in a pond. Immediately, both of them were taken to Dharmanagar Hospital where the doctors declared them “brought dead on arrival”.
The police have sent the bodies for postmortem and further investigations are on.
