Election fever has gripped the tribal areas in Tripura ahead of the TTAADC elections.

The TIPRA (The Indigenous People’s Regional Alliance) too has been going all out to woo the voters of the tribal areas.

Tripura royal scion Pradyot Deb Barman is leading the TIPRA from the front, reaching out to people residing in every nook and corner of the TTAADC area.

A sea of people have turned up for every rally that Pradyot Deb Barman has addressed thus far.

“They spread violence and hate. We share love! Our campaign is to share happiness and not hatred,” said Pradyot Deb Barman.

Pradyot Deb Barman himself is contesting the upcoming TTAADC elections from the Takarjala-Jampuijala constituency.

IPFT chief and Tripura minister NC Debbarma is the local MLA from Takarjala Assembly constituency.

TIPRA is contesting in 23 seats while its alliance partner – the INPT is contesting in 5 seats.

Elections to the TTAADC will be held on April 4.
