Chairman of Tripura’s new political force the TIPRA (The Indigenous People’s Regional Alliance) and members of the TTAADC (Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council) met Ambassador of Brazil to India – Andre Aranha Correa. 

The meeting discussed several issues relating to agriculture, solar energy and sports. 

The meeting between the Brazilian Ambassador and the TIPRA chairman and the TTAADC members is speculated to have discussed matters of mutual collaboration. 

The holding of the meeting was informed by TIPRA chairman Pradyot Debbarma.

“Members of the TTAADC met the Brazilian Ambassador Andre Aranha Correa and discussed on issues such as Agriculture, Solar Energy, Sports. He showed keen interest on the cultural aspect of the indigenous ppl and expressed his desire to visit our state,” Pradyot Debbarma said.
