A total of 428 persons tested positive for Covid19 in Tripura while four people succumbed to the deadly virus in the state in the last 24 hours.
A total of 366 people, who were earlier infected by Covid19, recovered from the disease in Tripura.

The state health department bulletin on Sunday reported that a total of 8,244 samples were tested out of which Covid19 infection was detected among 428 patients and four among 3,550 positive cases died of infection.
The positivity rate stands at 5.19% as of Monday.
While the state’s recovery rate stands at 93.71%, the fatality rate stands at 1.02%.

Till now, 13,12,460 samples were tested in Tripura during the Covid19 pandemic.
Out of the total samples, a total of 67,451 people tested positive and 63,146 patients recovered.
The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 689 people in Tripura so far.
Among the positive cases in the last 24 hours in Tripura, 118 people were infected in West Tripura district, 42 tested positive in Gomati, 48 in Khowai district, 46 in Dhalai, 34 in Sepahijala, 22 in North Tripura, 53 in Unakoti and 65 in South Tripura district.
Meanwhile, India reported 39,796 new Covid19 cases in the last 24 hours.
The country’s active Covid19 cases constitute 1.58% of the total cases.
A total of 2,97,00,430 people have recovered across the country so far while a total of 42,352 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
The daily recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 53rd consecutive day and the country’s recovery rate increased to 97.11% on Monday morning, the Union health ministry’s said.
