“Through the AMRUT 2.0 scheme, three ponds in Agartala city will be developed and beautified. We have secured 90% of the funds from the Centre and 10% from the state. The ongoing Smart City Mission has already provided around Rs 500 crore to our state, leading to numerous developments. I plan to discuss with our leaders in Delhi the initiation of Smart City 2.0, akin to AMRUT 2.0, to ensure continued development,” Dr. Saha stated.
He added that visitors from outside Tripura have been impressed by the state’s progress.
“Tripura has seen significant improvements in law and order and overall development. Prime Minister Modi’s focus on development drives our ongoing projects. However, we must also take responsibility for maintaining and beautifying our lakes and ponds.

“Flooding often leads to criticism, but we find large amounts of garbage, bottles, and debris causing issues. It is everyone’s responsibility to maintain cleanliness. Previously, there was no significant effort in maintaining these water bodies. Our goal is to focus on development without politicizing it,” said the Chief Minister.
Dr. Saha also highlighted the memorable impact of PM Modi’s development work on the people.
