CPIM state committee member Pabitra Kar came down heavily on the chief minister for making such a statement.

He said that just prior to three months the chief minister had told in a public meeting at Ambasa that the left front was non-existent in Tripura and now he admitted its presence.

Pabitra Kar said, “CPI(M) has public support in every village and habitat in Tripura.”
