Sreejith was allegedly subjected to custodial torture by Kerala police and died while undergoing treatment.

The death of Sreejith sparked off resentment in Kerala.

Sreejith, along with nine others, was taken to custody in connection with a suicide case. But after his death it was found that police had wrongly picked him up taking him as someone else.

Meanwhile, Biplab Kumar Deb proceeded to Chengannur for BJP’s election campaign on Thursday.
