A bike rally and a roadshow were organized for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for West Tripura seat, Pratima Bhowmik in Ramnagar area of Agartala on Sunday.

Vijaya Rahatkar, national president of Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha along with huge numbers of BJP supporters and leaders who took part in the campaigning programme.

Hundreds of bikers with BJP flags followed the car turned into a chariot in which Bhowmik along with Rahatkar waved to commuters and people of the nearby houses with a request to vote for the BJP.

The BJP Mahila Morcha national president Rahatkar speaking to reporters attacked the Congress party which according to her did not do much to uproot poverty from the nation.

According to her what Narendra Modi during his tenure as Prime Minister did, the Congress party could not do during its long tenure of ruling the country and so the people of the country will surely vote for the BJP to see Modi as the Prime Minister again.

She also referred to various schemes of the Modi government which are pro-poor and focusing on empowering the women and has benefited crores across the length and breadth of the country.
