No government organization can suspend an employee for posting his opinion on an issue on social media.
This is not a lone instance as last year Kaushik Chakraborty, a doctor of the AGMC had been suspended for posting a comment on Facebook.

Ironically, Bhowmik is the daughter of Arun Chandra Bhowmik, a BJP MLA from Belonia autonomous district council constituency.
Bhowmik alleged that the medical college authorities had called her up, pressurizing het to delete her Facebook post.
The hospital authorities even threatened her with dire consequences and later called her father to the hospital asking him to convince his daughter to delete the particular post.
When she refused to concede to their demands, the hospital authorities finally suspended her.
Bhowmik, who had been vocal about the various issues during the tenure of the left front government, said that she will take legal action.
“I had openly criticized the left front state government on several issues on social media, but I was never threatened in this manner. This time I was suspended for a small Facebook post. I will take legal action now,” she said.
