A 21-year-old girl has been allegedly raped and murdered in Tripura’s Unakoti district.
The body of a 21-year-old deceased girl was recovered from the forests under Kailashahar sub-division under Unakoti district of Tripura.
The girl was allegedly raped and murdered after she was abducted three days ago.

The villagers are, in fact, accusing the police for their lazy attitude in tracing the girl.
Reportedly, the girl went out from her home at 10 in the morning on Thursday (April 29, 2021) to fetch dry firewood from the Kalishashan garden and was missing since then.
As the girl did not return home in the afternoon, the family members started searching for her and a written complaint was lodged by the family at the Kailashahar Women’s Police Station on Friday (April 30, 2021) morning.

Villagers claimed that after receiving the complaint, the OC of the women’s police station and the other police personnel did not pay any heed to their FIR.
The body of the girl was later recovered on the next day.
