The concerned authority has set up new water pipes in the villages providing at least water for 12 hours at Ichalal Chara under Kadamtala Block in Bagpasa Assembly constituency in North Tripura.
The initiative came after North-east News published a news item highlighting the water crisis in the region on March 28 last.
The villagers are extremely happy after getting water supply in the village.
The villagers including have expressed their gratitude to the authority for providing water supply in the village.
The villagers now use this water for their day to day work.
