The mortal remains of martyred CRPF jawan Shambhu Roy reached his home village in Tripura on Tuesday.
Shambhu Roy hailed from Bhagyapur village in North Tripura district.
Shambhu Roy’s mortal remains reached the MBB Airport in Agartala on Tuesday morning.
Floral tributes were paid to the martyred CRPF jawan.
Tripura MP Pratima Bhowmick also paid tribute to martyred Shambhu Roy.

At the time of his martyrdom, Roy has left behind his father, mother, younger brother and two sisters.
Shambhu Roy was a member of the CRPF’s elite commando wing – CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action).
According to Shambhu Roy’s family, he went to Chhattisgarh just two weeks back.
At least 22 jawans lost their lives in the fierce encounter with the Naxals in Chhattisgarh.
